HIDDEN ROME
Discover the heart of Rome
This tour starts at the Circus Maximus, the largest stadium ever built by mankind, hence its name! From there you will be discovering the Aventine Hill and enjoying a fantastic view of Rome and another one pretty intriguing too but we won’t tell you what here… Then head to see the famous Mouth of the Truth and put your hand inside it like millions people did it already. Following your guide you will walk through history as you stroll close by the Theatre of Marcellus, and arrive at the Jewish Ghetto to breath the atmosphere of one of the most fascinating districts of Rome. Later, in Largo Argentina, your guide will tell you where exactly Julius Caesar was killed… not even many Romans know that! Keep on walking and you will enter the majestic church of St Maria sopra Minerva where you can admire a statue by Michelangelo and, in another church close by, St Ignatius, you will be amazed to see a mesmerizing fake dome… You will be passing then in Piazza Navona, one of the loveliest squares in Rome, and end up facing St Angel Castle: a magnificent way to end your unforgettable exploration of Rome!
